Read the mission statement....notice anything missing? The word "music" is not there. That is because Soundscapes is ultimately about changing the lives of the children that we serve. The goal of this after-school program is to provide children with the opportunity to build strong life skills so that they can achieve what they want in life. Music not only allows us to explore our minds and emotion, but playing music builds discipline, teamwork, respect, leadership, attention to detail and much more. |
